Since you said you were an eligible single, I thought I'd leave this here...you sound really fun and interesting and super-cute, and I really enjoy hearing you talk! LOST sounds like an enjoyable show and I was wondering if you'd be interested in telling me more about it. Would you like to...well...get married sometime? My church is available Saturday. Hope to hear from you! ;)Janellenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3872806131037085375.post-39561941701721467382010-12-07T15:25:29.806-05:002010-12-07T15:25:29.806-05:00Alternate endings for novels I think are less comm...Alternate endings for novels I think are less common than in movies, so it's neat that you have one!Nick Haydenhttp://www.worksofnick.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3872806131037085375.post-68856512437168248522010-12-01T13:26:14.243-05:002010-12-01T13:26:14.243-05:00I realized after listening to your "Listener ...I realized after listening to your "Listener Feedback" segment that I have had comments to contribute to each of these podcasts but never got around to leaving them. I just hope I remember them. So, here goes!

It's interesting that you bring up the "deleted scenes" from "Star Trek" because they're on the DVD (which I showed Nick later). They showed the villain, Nero, fighting Klingons (one of the most popular races in all of "Star Trek") and being captured by them. Nero and his crew then go to a Klingon prison planet, where one of them says he knows about Nero's plans to vengeance against Spock. But Nero kills him and escapes.

I've also seen some interesting alternate endings to films. In the original ending to "First Blood," Rambo dies. In "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," Scott ended up with Knives instead of Ramona.

There's even an alternate ending to my own novel. (SPOILER WARNING!) While the very end is the same, the beginning was longer and quite different. Scarlet was older and a military strategist. But the publisher thought it was "too clean," so I rewrote it. I'm glad I did, because it's better now.Nathan Marchandhttp://www.nathanjsmarchand.comnoreply@blogger.com
